    Community

As a cooperative; we understand community involvement; we know the importance of community support and we will continue to help our community grow and prosper. Some of the community service programs we promote include:

Operation Round-Up
Wabash County REMC’s Operation Round-up program has been a huge success that has helped many not-for-profit organizations reach their goals. This success is a combined effort of our members who participate and allow us to round their monthly bills to the next higher dollar amount and contribute the difference, and to our dedicated Operation Round-up board of directors.

Electrical Safety
Wabash County REMC is pleased to do our part to promote electrical safety to students in our area schools. We have presented our electric safety program for many years. Our goal is to do more than discuss and demonstrate; we want to educate the kids and encourage them to share the safety tips with their family and friends.

Scholarship Program
Wabash County REMC is proud to offer a scholarship program to financially assist students that are Wabash County REMC members or whose parents are member of Wabash County REMC. There is no better way to support our community then to support and assist our young people in their pursuit of higher education.

Touchstone Energy Center
Within the Wabash County REMC office building is a community room, named the Touchstone Energy Center. This 4,800 square foot room is complete with its own entrance, kitchen and bathrooms. Designated as a community room, it’s available to the REMC membership as well as all of the community for meetings, receptions or all kinds of family events.

Touchstone Energy KidsZone
NEW! Touchstone Energy's Kids "Super Energy Saver" program featuring CFL Charlie. This program is designed to teach children grades K-5 about energy, electrical safety and energy savings.
