To disconnect, reconnect, or transfer service,
please remember to request 24 hours in advance.
Deposits are collected “up-front” to protect the cooperative
from uncollectible accounts. New members must pay a $100.00 deposit
or present a satisfactory letter of credit. A deposit will be required
if the letter of credit indicates two (2) late payments or one (1)
actual disconnection of service. The deposit will be set up in the
first billing. No payment arrangements will be allowed on a first
billing, which includes a deposit amount. Other circumstances may
warrant charging a deposit as determined by your Wabash County REMC.
Deposits will be returned to the member as a credit on the bill
if credit history for the proceeding twelve month period indicates
no more than two (2) times late and no disconnection or service.
